Google Analytics can now count finished spins of the main wheel outside Europe, at most three per page load, with no wheel content. The Privacy, Cookies and FAQ pages explain it, and the Privacy page now says how Google's own location check, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control affect analytics.
How ChoiceSpin uses analyticsAdvanced entries are now a setting you switch on and off, so weights count on every tab and Auto remove winner takes the winning row off the wheel. Joining or creating a live room switches Advanced off, usually after a question, and removes its weights, images and hidden entries; in a room every line with text gets an equal slice.
How ChoiceSpin picks a winnerThe public Gallery opens on the newest public wheels again, up to 24 at a time, with a Load more button when there may be more. A Featured button next to it shows the short list picked by ChoiceSpin, and search works as before. Some wheels stay hidden from the Gallery, such as lists of people's names.
Browse the public GalleryThe public Gallery now opens with a search box and a short list of featured wheels instead of the newest uploads. Wheels shared as public still go public right away, and those the Gallery can list are found by searching. The Gallery page now asks search engines not to list it.
Browse the public GalleryVisitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland now see the Google Analytics question in the language of the page they are reading, on all ten site languages.
Privacy and Cookies now explain how Google's advertising cookies would work once ads run, with links to Google's opt-out settings. No ads are shown yet, and Privacy, Cookies, Terms and the Gallery carry no advertising code.
How ChoiceSpin handles your dataLoading a saved wheel or opening a wheel file while the wheel is spinning now shows a small window with a close button instead of a red bar at the bottom: "Please wait until the spin finishes, then try again." The spin keeps going and your list stays as it was.
On English pages, visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland now see a short Accept or Reject choice before Google Analytics runs. Nothing goes to Google Analytics before that choice, a refusal is kept, and Analytics choices at the bottom of the page changes it later.
How ChoiceSpin handles your dataLoading a saved wheel from My Wheels or opening a wheel file while a wheel is spinning no longer replaces the list halfway. The spin finishes with its own winner, and a message asks you to try again in a moment.
A room link opened in a background tab no longer replaces the room's list with an older one saved in that browser, and a list with a very long line or a hidden control character is caught before it reaches the room.
In a Spin With Friends room, every browser now shows the winner the room stored, so two people cannot see different names. Lists too large for a room are caught before sending, and a brief service error is retried instead of dropping you at once.
How ChoiceSpin picks a winnerThe color wheel now has its own page in German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese, with the eight colors named in each language. Translated pages also keep the entries button label in their language and no longer say the list sits beside the wheel, which was wrong on phones.
Open the color wheelThe About page now says who makes ChoiceSpin and how to report a mistake. The Terms explain what publishing to the Gallery makes public, that anyone can spin or copy it, and how reports and removal work. Below the steps, tool pages link to how ChoiceSpin picks results. "Report this wheel" now opens an email to the address on our contact page.
Read who makes ChoiceSpinThe wheel, the Entries editor and app dialogs on tool pages now use the same colors as the homepage: a light grey entries panel, grey labels and tabs, and green buttons in dialogs. Page backgrounds, headers and footers did not change.
Use the wheel in Vietnamese, with translated controls, instructions, an About page and dedicated tools for picking names, choosing yes or no, splitting teams and picking numbers. Choose Tiếng Việt from the language menu.
Open ChoiceSpin in VietnameseTeams now have fixed names and colors, such as Red team and Blue team, and the Teams window shows how names will split before you generate. New Spin for teams lets the wheel pick people one at a time into the teams. Rounds now explains itself: each spin calls someone who has not had a turn yet.
After you choose a language, links on English pages lead to the versions in that language and the logo returns to your language's homepage. Translated tool pages now suggest related tools in the same language. The light or dark theme you pick stays the same on every page, including the Gallery, Wheels and embed pages.
On phones, a tool page's wheel name now sits on its own line above the wheel, with its description, instead of being cut short in the corner. Minimizing the entries list leaves only the small button that opens it again, on the homepage as on every tool page.
Build a wheel on the new embed page, spin the live preview, then copy one short piece of code or a link for WordPress, Google Sites, Wix, Notion and other site builders. The wheel fits phone screens and can show a Spin button or let visitors edit their own copy. The old embed guide now leads here.
Make a wheel for your websiteUse the wheel in Hindi, with translated controls, instructions, an About page and dedicated tools for picking names, choosing yes or no, making teams and picking numbers. Choose हिन्दी from the language menu.
Open ChoiceSpin in HindiThe Share button now follows the dark header theme, and Share panels and Advanced Entries have clearer styling. When you create a share link, the next step waits until the link is ready instead of showing an empty box. Switching between the light and dark themes uses a circle transition while the wheel keeps its appearance.
Browse restored Gallery cards with previews based on each saved wheel, readable descriptions and rounded Spin and Copy buttons in the homepage colors. Hover over a preview to turn its wheel. Shared wheels now keep their saved slice weights, show complete labels on large slices and stay circular across screen sizes.
Browse community wheelsShared links now open with a larger wheel that appears once it is ready, or a Try again button if loading fails. Reopening Share reuses the same link if it still works and the wheel is unchanged. To publish a text or emoji wheel, choose the public Gallery option: the Share window says what it needs, and a View Gallery link appears once it is published.
Explore the public GalleryRead the new homepage guide in German, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, or Brazilian Portuguese. Tutorial steps, feature explanations, example names, and footer links follow the selected language.
Use the pencil at the top left to add a wheel title and description without moving the wheel. Each wheel keeps its own details, including in saved files. Uploaded backgrounds adapt the headings and multi-wheel controls while the large single-wheel Entries panel keeps its normal colors.
Open a quick tutorial inside each guide card, flip cards to explore features, and preview actual ready-made wheels. Floating illustrations and question reveals support reduced motion. The guide now uses the wheel’s original colors, with white and charcoal themes, neutral controls, clearer links, and a simpler footer.
Each wheel keeps its own colors, images, sounds and spin settings. Spin all waits for every wheel before showing a clear list of named results, with copying and removal for each pick. Duplicate a wheel, use fullscreen, or edit entries on a narrow screen. Background images adapt control contrast, and every wheel uses the same pointer feedback.
Everything in the September 5 preview below became available to everyone on this date. That includes the classroom writing lesson and worksheet, search across every wheel template, saved entry weights and disabled choices, separate section backgrounds, classroom links on writing and name wheels, and room for up to ten wheels with Add wheel beside Spin all.
A new journal article compares five wheel tools, with each one's account requirements, limits and source links. It also has a recommendation picker, accessible scroll animations and moderated guest comments.

Search finds matching templates across every category and page. Results stay easy to browse in small batches, and the category links still work if search cannot load.
My Wheels and downloaded files keep entry weights, disabled choices and per-entry styling when reopened in this preview. Older files start with ordinary entries so they cannot inherit weights. Add separate wheel and section background images from Images or Customize; section backgrounds are kept in local saves.
Shorter homepage help explains weights and repeats; number-wheel instructions show how to finish a full round. Indonesian two-choice and discussion-topic pages describe their results more clearly. The theme button keeps a consistent translated name for screen readers.
The teacher guide includes a 15-minute activity using the writing-prompt wheel, with clear steps, an example opening and ways to adapt it. A permanent lesson link makes it easier to find again, and browser printing keeps the instructions readable.
Shared links open with a larger wheel and simple spin, copy and share actions. Quick Share creates a link when opened; live rooms start with Create. Short help replaces long setup panels. An original ChoiceSpin image gives links a recognizable preview and also appears without JavaScript.
Add wheel stays beside Spin all, with room for up to ten wheels and a compact Entries panel. The mobile toolbar stays on one row, theme changes animate smoothly, and live chat stays above the page. Clearer steps and related wheels help you choose; food wheels use matching colors and long lists support keyboard scrolling.
Everyone holds a finger on the phone screen, a ring appears under each one, and after a shared countdown one ring is picked at random. The winner is drawn before the animation exists, so the light show cannot change it, and where you put your finger makes no difference. Nothing is saved, and desktop visitors get a demo of the same pick.
The stream overlay reads your public Twitch chat, so viewers enter with !join and leave with !leave, while !spin, !add, !remove, !clear, and !reset stay limited to you and your moderators. It connects as an anonymous guest, so there is no login step and no token in the Browser Source URL. Twitch only for now.
Spin With Friends rooms now sync with less delay. Two more fixes followed on August 7: replacing a Share link became quicker, and a duplicated browser tab now gets its own place in a room instead of quietly sharing one.
Each tool page now opens with its own starting list instead of bringing back an old edit from an earlier visit to that page. Edits last for the current visit, and you can still save a wheel in My Wheels or download it as a file.
The guide below the wheel now explains customization, ready-made wheels, common uses, device support, randomness, local saving, and seven frequent questions in a larger readable layout. Page links use familiar blue underlined styling.
Copying a wheel from a Spin-and-copy link or Quick Share now opens it as an editable copy in the same tab. Your other saved data stays hidden from the shared page, and a copy that fails no longer leaves the page stuck.
On the homepage and tool pages, the wheel and Entries editor stay first, followed by one plain bordered guide. Each tool page can also start with its own spin and sound settings.
On tool pages, the page heading now sits below the wheel, followed by plain steps, the starting entries and related wheels. A separate Wheels page lists ChoiceSpin's ready-made wheels apart from the public Gallery.
Share, Quick Share and Spin With Friends now open their window right away. Connection checks and retry messages appear inside that window instead of as a small warning on the page.
Every tool page in the preview now uses the same ChoiceSpin wheel and Entries box as the homepage, and can start with its own entries, colors and familiar phone emojis. The Yes or No pages work the same way, so the answer counter added earlier in the preview is gone.
Firefox and browsers built on WebKit, the engine behind Safari, no longer show a false warning about saving the current project. Browsers that lack the sound feature the wheel uses now carry on without the finish sound instead of reporting an error.
The website embed and stream overlay builders now use ChoiceSpin's familiar wheel design and spin behavior. The website page creates responsive embed code; the stream page creates an OBS or Streamlabs Browser Source URL and explains audience uses.
The Help, Privacy, Cookies and Terms pages each have their own look. Help adds searchable answers and visual guides. All four use calmer optional motion, clearer summaries and working light and dark themes.
The mobile menu and shared wheel dialogs now keep keyboard focus in the open panel, return focus to the control that opened it, and are hidden from screen readers while closed. Nested Customize color and discard panels also keep the controls behind them out of reach.
The Customize window, theme names, Quick Share, live-room error messages, shared-wheel importing and winner file names are now translated on all seven language homepages.
Shared and public links now run on the same wheel, pointer, sounds, winner effects, and confetti as the main page. Copying a shared wheel now loads it from its link instead of passing large images through browser storage, social previews are cleaner, and the shared page has a focused layout for phones.
The classroom, streamer, fairness, randomness, and About guides now respond properly to light and dark themes, use clearer purpose-built visuals, and keep motion optional for people who prefer less animation. The main page guide below the wheel also has calmer scroll reveals and more consistent interactive details.
The Gallery now shows only public wheels shared by ChoiceSpin users, kept apart from ChoiceSpin's own ready-made wheels. Recent wheels, relevant search, and Surprise me are easier to use, old broken previews fall back cleanly, and the page has better phone, keyboard, accessibility and loading behavior.
Modern browsers now use Web Crypto for wheel picks, and the new Randomness Audit can simulate up to 100,000 spins locally so anyone can inspect the results without sending their entries away.
The preview expands the collection from 13 to 23 English wheel tools and adds dedicated Yes or No wheels in Spanish, French, and German.
