Fairness and privacy
Is the wheel really random?
Honest answer: each spin asks your browser's built-in random number generator for a fresh value and uses it
to pick the winner. That is pseudo-random, not a certified hardware lottery, and for classrooms, giveaways,
and game nights it is more than fair: every enabled entry gets a chance exactly proportional to its slice,
and nothing else on the page influences the pick. The animation just shows you where the draw landed.
Equal odds by default. Entries are treated evenly unless you deliberately set weights in Advanced mode, and weighted slices are visible on the wheel.
Every spin is independent. The same entry can win twice, just like a coin can land heads twice. Streaks are normal randomness, not a malfunction. Use winner removal when repeats should not happen.
No server picks the winner. The draw runs entirely in your browser. Ads, spin count, and previous results have no connection to the outcome.
The record stays visible. Results history keeps a running log of past spins, so classrooms and giveaway audiences can review every draw.

Is ChoiceSpin free?

Is the wheel spinner really random?
Each spin uses a fresh value from your browser's built-in random number generator, so every enabled entry has a chance proportional to its slice, equal by default. It is honest pseudo-randomness: more than fair for classrooms, giveaways, and games, though not a certified lottery system.
Why did the same name win twice?
Spins are independent, like coin flips, so repeats and streaks are normal randomness. If the same entry should not win twice, turn on auto remove winner or remove past winners between spins.
Can the wheel be rigged?
There is no hidden bias to switch on. If you want uneven odds, say a grand prize that is rarer than a small one, Advanced mode lets you set weights, and weighted slices are visibly larger or smaller on the wheel.
How many entries can I add?
