Spin the wheel on phones, tablets, and computers
Yes. ChoiceSpin works in current phone, tablet, and desktop browsers, and the wheel controls adjust to smaller screens.
How ChoiceSpin picks a result
In modern browsers, Web Crypto (crypto.getRandomValues()) selects the winner. With standard motion, Web Crypto also randomizes a safe visual landing point inside the chosen slice. With reduced motion, the wheel uses the slice midpoint instead. Equal entries have equal chances. Visible weights can change those chances.
Each spin is independent, so a name can win again unless winner removal is turned on. ChoiceSpin is built for everyday decisions, classrooms, games, and giveaways. It is not a certified lottery system.
Saved wheels and recent results stay in this browser on this device. Downloaded .wheel files are separate backups. Hosted Share appears only when its secure service is enabled.
Why choose ChoiceSpin?
ChoiceSpin keeps the main task fast and transparent: no account for the wheel spinner, browser-local saves, visible result history, ready-made wheels, and a public explanation of how random results are chosen.

Is the wheel random?
In modern browsers, Web Crypto (crypto.getRandomValues()) selects the winner. With standard motion, Web Crypto also randomizes a safe visual landing point inside the chosen slice. With reduced motion, the wheel uses the slice midpoint instead. Equal entries have equal chances unless you add visible weights. It is fair for everyday use, but it is not a certified lottery system.
Can names repeat?
Yes. Independent spins can repeat, just like coin flips can. Turn on winner removal when each name should be chosen only once.
How many entries can I add?
You can paste up to 2,000 entries into one wheel. The first 1,000 are active by default. To include more, raise Entries Visible in Customize before you spin.
Can I save a wheel?
Yes. Save stores the wheel in My Wheels on this browser. Download makes a separate .wheel backup. Hosted Share appears only when its secure service is enabled.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. ChoiceSpin works in current phone, tablet, and desktop browsers, and the wheel controls adjust to smaller screens.
