Spin the Bottle Wheel
Eight sample player names come preloaded; one spin points to the person who takes the next turn, no bottle required.
Set up a bottle-free round
- Enter the circle
Replace the sample names with everyone playing, one per line, and leave out anyone who has not agreed to join.
- Agree the rules first
Decide what a turn means, whether a spinner landing on themselves spins again, and confirm passing is always fine.
- Spin and pass the phone
Spin once, let the chosen player take or skip the turn, then hand the device to the next spinner.
Tip: Consent applies on every round. Joining the game does not mean agreeing to every person, prompt, or activity.
Why a wheel beats a real bottle
A glass bottle can stop ambiguously between two people, roll off the table, or favor whoever spins it hardest. The wheel lands on exactly one name every time, and every enabled name starts with the same chance, so nobody argues about where the pointer stopped.
Swap the eight sample names for the people actually in the circle, and include only players who want to join. The wheel just picks a name: the group decides what a turn involves, and anyone can pass a round without explaining why.
Low-pressure ways to play
Keep each round social, optional, and suitable for the people who are actually present.
- Icebreakers Friendly questions: Select who answers the next question about favorites, hobbies, or another comfortable topic.
- Party Light party turns: Choose who tells a joke, picks a song, or takes another activity the group approved first.
- Groups Conversation order: Use the wheel as a neutral name picker when several people want the next turn.

Common questions
What if the wheel lands on the person who spun it?
Pick a rule before you start: most groups either spin again or pass the turn left. Any rule works once everyone knows it.
Can it skip people who already had a turn?
Yes. Turn on auto remove winner and each chosen name leaves the wheel until you restore the list for a new game.
