Why draw with a visible wheel
A wheel draw earns trust because people watch it happen. A name pulled from a spreadsheet off screen asks the audience to take your word for it; a wheel that spins in front of them, slows and stops on one slice does not. Paste one entrant per line, and prefer a first name plus an initial over emails or handles, since the list may end up on stream or in a screenshot. Run a test spin before going live to catch typos. Blank lines are skipped automatically.
One setting matters most for a big giveaway: the wheel draws only from visible entries, and the visible limit starts at 1,000. Raise it toward the 2,000 maximum with Entries Visible in Customize before spinning a long list, or the entrants at the bottom quietly sit out the draw. The wheel does not connect to Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or any other account and does not read comments; you copy the entrants in yourself.
Odds live in the list. Every visible line carries the same chance unless you set Advanced weights, so a person who appears twice holds two slices. Turn Show Duplicates off to keep only the first copy of each repeat; a live room ignores that setting, so delete repeats there. Allow repeats only when your published rules award bonus entries, and say so on screen.
Running several prizes, switch on Auto remove winner and give each prize its own spin. A line with the drawn name (in Advanced mode, the winning row) leaves the wheel; with Show Duplicates off, its other enabled copies leave too. A removal happens only while at least two lines would remain, so finish the last prize by hand. In a live room only the drawn line goes, and only from a browser that spun with Auto remove on and may edit the room. If one win per person is the rule and Show Duplicates is on, or you draw in a live room, also delete a winner's duplicate lines yourself. Outside live rooms, Rounds also draws several winners: start a round and each included row can be picked once, then End round restores the full list.
For an on-screen draw, choose slice colours in Customize along with sound and confetti. An optional entry picture is drawn on its slice with the name. Save the prepared draw in My Wheels for this browser, or download a .wheel file to your streaming computer if your device policy allows. Clearing browser data can erase saved wheels. There is no account. Saving here or downloading a file does not upload entrants. Hosted Share and live rooms send the data needed to provide those features.
Results is a convenience history kept in this browser, not evidence. Clear it before you go live so an old test spin never shows on screen, and capture your own recording or screenshot when your giveaway rules require proof. The wheel picks fairly from the list you give it; whether that list was complete and eligible is still your job.
Where a list wheel can fit
Use it only for a settled, low-risk draw.
- Communities Small community prizes: Pick one eligible member from a Discord, forum or club list, then record the result yourself.
- Streams On-screen audience draws: Show the checked list, spin live, and let chat watch the pointer stop without calling Results independent proof.
- Events Informal door prizes: Project a low-stakes draw at a meetup or party and remove winners when repeats are not allowed.
- Teams Internal perk draws: Choose who gets the spare conference ticket or the Friday off, and keep required records elsewhere.

Common questions
How big can the entrant list be?
The wheel holds up to 2,000 entries but draws only from visible ones, so raise Entries Visible in Customize above its 1,000 default for a long list.
Someone entered twice. Is that double the chance?
While both lines are shown, yes; each line is its own slice. Turn Show Duplicates off to collapse repeats (in a live room, delete the extra line), or leave them when your rules grant bonus entries.
How do I pick three winners with no repeats?
Use one row per eligible person, then open Rounds and choose Start round. Tick a name under Attendance only if that person should sit out the draw. Each unticked row can be picked once, even in a three-row list. Auto remove winner is separate and never leaves fewer than two non-empty lines.
Can I use it for an Instagram or YouTube giveaway?
Yes, as long as you bring the list. The wheel does not connect to social accounts or read comments; copy the entrants' names into the list, check it, and spin on stream.
Is the spin proof my giveaway was fair?
A shared screen lets people watch the pick, which builds real trust, but no wheel can prove your entry list was complete. Publish your rules and keep your own records.
