About this wheel
A number generator everyone can watch
A plain random number generator spits out a result instantly, which is fine when you are alone. In a classroom, a game night, or a raffle, the spin itself is the point: everyone watches the wheel slow down and stop, so nobody wonders whether the number was really random. The winning number is shown in the result box and logged in the visible Results history, giving you a running record of every draw.
The wheel is preloaded with 1 to 12, which covers dice-style games, months, and quick picks. To change the range, just edit the entries list — each number goes on its own line, and the wheel redraws as you type. There is no automatic range generator, so for a big range like 1 to 200, paste a column of numbers from a spreadsheet instead of typing them by hand. The wheel supports up to 2,000 entries, though labels get tiny on very large lists.
Drawing several numbers without repeats, like bingo practice or raffle ticket calls? Turn on auto remove winner and each drawn number leaves the wheel after its spin. If you use the same range every week, save it to My Wheels so it reopens in one click, or send a Quick Share link to put the same wheel on someone else's screen.
How to use
How to use the random number wheel
- Set your number range. Keep the preset 1-12 or type your own numbers, one per line. For long ranges, paste a column of numbers from a spreadsheet.
- Spin the wheel. Click Spin or click the wheel itself. The number under the pointer when it stops is your result.
- Read and record the result. The winning number appears in the result box and is added to the Results history, so you have a record of every draw.
- Choose repeats or no repeats. Leave the list alone for independent draws, or turn on auto remove winner so each number can only come up once.
Tip: for a big range like 1-100, fill a spreadsheet column with the numbers and paste the whole column into the entries box - each cell lands on its own line automatically.
Ideas and use cases
Where a spinning number beats a plain generator
Any time a random number needs an audience, the wheel makes the draw visible:
Classrooms
Math drills and practice
Spin two numbers and have students add, multiply, or compare them. The suspense of the spin keeps a whole class watching the board.
Raffles
Ticket number draws
Paste the sold ticket numbers, spin in front of the room, and let the Results history stand as the record of each winning ticket.
Games
Dice substitute
Lost the dice? A 1-6 wheel replaces one die and a 1-12 wheel covers bigger board game moves - and everyone at the table sees the roll.
Fun
Challenge and forfeit numbers
Number your dares or forfeits, spin, and do whatever the wheel lands on. Nobody can claim the number was picked on purpose.
Practice
Bingo-style calling
Load your number pool, turn on auto remove winner, and spin to call numbers one at a time without repeats.
Fitness
Workout rep counts
Spin for how many push-ups, squats, or burpees come next. Random rep counts keep group workouts unpredictable.
