Random Object Generator
One spin picks one of 32 preloaded everyday objects, teapot to telescope, as a prompt for drawing, writing, description, or improv.
How to run an object round
- Fit the list to the game
Keep the 32 starters or enter your own objects, dropping anything the group would not recognize.
- Spin for a prompt
Let the wheel settle and take the full name from the readout, since long labels crowd narrow slices.
- Decide about repeats
Spin freely for warm-ups, or turn on auto remove winner so every round opens with a fresh object.
If a round involves fetching or acting with real items, stick to safe, reachable ones, and let anyone trade a prompt they dislike.
Concrete prompts beat clever ones
Every preset object is a physical thing players can picture, which matters more in sketching and guessing games than word rarity. Difficulty still varies: candle and boot come easily, while typewriter and wheelbarrow stretch confident players. Trim the list to the group before a competitive round.
For a themed session, swap in your own set, kitchen tools for a vocabulary lesson or household items for a still-life class. Each object keeps one equal-weight slice until you duplicate, remove, or reweight a line, and auto remove winner stops a session from serving the same prompt twice.
Three games, one wheel
The same 32 objects feed very different rounds.
- Drawing Timed sketch duel: Everyone draws the same spun object in sixty seconds, then the table votes.
- Improv Scene seed: Build a scene where the object drives the plot instead of decorating it.
- Language Describe and guess: One player defines the object without naming it while the rest race to guess.

Common questions
Why objects instead of any random word?
Concrete nouns keep prompt games moving because everyone can picture them. Abstract words stall a sketch or mime round, so the preset sticks to items like lantern, compass, and suitcase.
Can I remove the hard ones or add my own?
Yes. Edit the list like plain text, and whatever remains still starts with even chances across the wheel.
